Special thanks go to:
People from Belgrade, who organized this great congress, people from Novi Sad, who motivated us so well, Lucía, who revised all the text and corrected my horrible english, Miha, Kristof, Susanne, and Emmi, from whom I have stolen some photos to complete my collection, and, of course, all the people that came to this congress and made it so great, full of friendship and so funy.

Thu 25th, Preliminaries

Spaniards silly travel, Madrid - Venice - Ljubljana - Belgrade

Our journey was really strange, we know. We were very busy the last weeks before the congress and didn't have time to check distances, travel options, different routes or compare prices. We already knew flights to Venice were the cheapest option, but we didn't even bother to check if the train journey from Venice to Belgrade was too long. We booked the plane tickets on a rush, right before going to one of the Demonstrations against the Spanish Government which took place the day after the Madrid bombings, so you can imagine the amount of time and effort we put into our travel arrangements.

So, the day after leaving, Guillermo was up checking all the details till 6am, when we wrote an urgent email to people in Ljubljana asking them to check trains from Ljubljana to Belgrade (schedules and rates), and various other things we'd forgotten all about in the rush. Spanish style all the way - improvised on the fly. :)

Finally, the travel start was:

Madrid, morning: Pack the luggage, finish all those last-minute things (papers for University, emails, some work that had to be finished . . . Guillermo couldn't find the time to even eat!), and finally rushing to Barajas airport (arriving with only 60 minutes to takeoff!!!). There were 5 of us, and only 6 free seats on the plane by the time we got there! The seats, of course, were strewn all over the aircraft.

Madrid, 50 minutes to takeoff: An incredible long queue for police and scanner controls. Wooohooo. Will we loose the plane whilst waiting?

Madrid, 15 minutes to takeoff: Finally some spare time, which seemed like a luxury, so . . . let's buy something in those tax-free shops :)

Madrid, 10 minutes to takeoff: Get to the gate at a sprint, and enter the plane on the very last call, of course.

In the air somewhere, on the plane: Those 2 hours on the plane were veeery relaxing, at last we could calm down after all that rushing. Iberia's flights don't include food for free any more, so there was only one stewardess for the whole plane serving food, and since it was dinner time, everyone was requesting something. When the airplane started to descend for landing, the food had gotten only halfway through the plane. Which didn't matter since there was no more food left at all - what a mess!

Thu 18th night, Party in Venice

Venice Map

When we arrived at Venice, we got some useless bus tickets (you will never see a ticket collector there, so there's no need to cancel them). We called a friend of ours from Venice, to check if she was able to party that night. She wasn't, so we decided to try on our own.

First of all we went to the Venice Camping, were you can rent a room to leave the luggage in and (maybe) sleep. After leaving all our luggage and eating some chocolate, chips, and other junk food from the camping's shop, we tried to find somewhere to party.

Beer machine almost empty All the beers we drink

Unfortunately, Venice is not a party-going city, and there were no more buses by that time. We tried to get a taxi, but there were five of us and the taxi driver didn't want to take us all, and it would have been too expensive to take two taxis.

Finally we ended up in the camping's shop, finishing up the money-change machine's stock and, of course, that of the beer machine. More than 35 cans of beer and a hours later, we finally went to try to catch some sleep.

We managed (I still don't know how) to wake up more or less early, and after eating a lot of pizza for breakfast (at last, something gooood) we took a bus (without paying for it, of course) to the train station in Venice. There we got the train tickets and left our stuff in the left-luggage office, and went for a 3 hour walk through Venice.

Guillermo started to take photos like crazy, even though he already knew Venice and had pictures from other journeys. Meanwhile, the others were having a walk, looking at shops, and so on.

Fri 19th midday - Sat 27th morning, Travel to Belgrade & Novi Sad

Train travel, from venice to Belgrade and Novi Sad

In the return travel to the railway station we bought some food for the journey, and caught the train. After a huge fight with our luggage, trying to stow it somewhere, a inspector came and told us to fuck off, those were not our places, and so we had to go to out real coach, where we had the exact same fight with the luggage all over again.

Some of the Spaniards managed to get some sleep, some stayed awake for the whole journey, and others did a little bit of each. The journey lasted 4 hours, and the ticket collector came only once.

The border-crossing into was quite funny, because when Mario was asked how much money he was carrying, and he answered 2000€. The rest of us were quite surprised and happy by this answer, but he quickly realized what he'd said and corrected himself: only 200€. What a pity that we didn't get to see how the policeman kicked him to try to get his 2000 €, or, at the very least, being invited to drinks throughout the week... :))) Hey people, remember not to confuse "hundred" with "thousand", specially not in border areas!

When we arrived at Ljubljana, we started the funny routine of money exchange, trying to adjust to the new currency in order to buy our train tickets to Belgrade. After that, we had to carry our things *again* through the fucking stairs of the Ljublajana train station, fighting again with our luggage in the new train whilst trying to put it in place. Some of us went to buy beer, and others to get water; while Mario and Guillermo remained in the train and made bets about who would end up losing the train and staying in Ljubljana XDDD.

Finally, the train started out, at night, towards Belgrade, with all five of us aboard. 11 hours of our lives were going to be wasted in that train... Ouch!!! Remind me to take a direct plane the next time, please!

Everybody was incredibly tired and after drinking all the beers, and some extra ones we bought in the train to some mafia-guy, people finally started to fall asleep.

The sunrise from the train

Not too long after that, the passport party started, and we are not talking about the whiskey brand with that name, but about the ticket collectors waking us up and asking for our tickets (3 times) and policemen asking for our passports (6 times!!!). As from the latest border-crossing, entering Serbia and Montenegro, Guillermo couldn't manage to fall asleep again, so there are some very nice sunrise shots in the picture gallery.

In Belgrade, Luisca was lucky, for his journey ended there. He was part of the Board, and had to go to some meetings. The rest of us had to travel on to Novi Sad for the Activation Weekend, after having some coffee in Belgrade.

Sat 20th, Arrival to Novi Sad & Musseum

Situation of Novi Sad

Finally, after a really horrible jouney, trying not to fall asleep (otherwise we could miss the Novi Sad station), we actually arrived at Novi Sad, one day later than we were expected to, two days after our departure, but finally there!

Our great hosts allowed us to take a great shower in order to recover from all the traveling we'd done in the last couple of days before joining the other guests to see the City Museum in the Castle.

Sat 20th afternoon, Walk arround a town near Novi Sad & mountain

We took some cars and went to a town near Novi Sad that hosted some negotiations between Turks and some others, back in the day. Sorry, I can't remember the details :).

Later we went up a little mountain, to a very nice place, where people from Novi Sad usually go to make barbecues, and spend weekends with their families. After lunch we climbed the mountain and took some photos all around; special series of photos of Juan making stupid things is included XD.

deja vú at Matrix bar

After doing so many thing in the same day we were a little tired, and we all went to have some coffee at the "Matrix" café. After a deja vú with a dog at the door, we had great coffee and tasted a new and special beer.

The dinner consisted of meat, of course, and after that we had some rest before going to the night party

The party was amazing! After the inital shock of thinking we had gotten lost and ended up in China (the student's bar was full of Chinese people) we realized we were at the party. Lots of beer, lots of palinkovac, lots of fun and great music made us dance till early morning.

Sun 21th morning, walkaround Novi Sad!!!

At last the Spanish people were able to see Novi Sad (remember we'd arrived one day after everyone else). All the things we were shown were "the biggest and oldest" :))). Don't get annoyed, it was a very interesting and nice city, but it was also really funny to hear the same superlatives time and again ;).

Counter Strike graffiti

We saw the city centre, including a Counter Strike graffiti (frikies everywere), and we took a long walk on the shores of the big Danube. We could see how Novi Sad forced people sailing down the Danube to remain in the city for a few days, since they have a drawbridge that doesn't rise very often and doesn't allow ships to cross... hehehe, nice way of promoting tourism!

The temporal bridge

We finished off our walk by drinking cold beer and talking in a pub out in the sun and with great weather. After that we went to the university buildings were we aet something before returning to the railway station to go back to Belgrade and start the actual Congress.

The train was completely crowded, probably due to a football match in Belgrade as we were told; so some of us had to stand in the corridors enjoying the view and talking throughout the journey. Nice photos of the travel :).

During the journey we talked about the Madrid bombimgs, the Kosovo problems and got familiar with the situation. Nice to hear about those things from real people, not through the superficial vision you get from TV news.

Sun 21th night, Arrival & sightseeing

Situation of Belgrade

The same thing happens in all congresses. The first day you see so much people that you end up totally lost. In this Congress we noticed that a lot, because *everybody* was on the reception, totally crowded: kisses, names, kisses, even more imposible to remember names. At least a man and a woman were giving out a tipical drink with bread and salt. You first eat the bread with salt, and latter drink the liquor (Javier did it in the wrong way, and ended up chewing salt XD). After that drink you feel much better and ready to talk. :)

We found our lost teammate Luisca. One of the first things he said when he saw us was "Hey, there is wireless in the Hotel!". You know, we need water, food and Internet in order to live ;).

The welcome party was postponed, because that day was official mourning in the memory of the dead people in Kosovo, so the plan was a sightseeing the city at night.

The Hotel was really nice, with great rooms, food and cheap beer (did I mention the wireless thingie? :P). After dinner the organizers gave us our ID cards. They tried to separate de spanish people in different teams, but of course we mannaged to stay together, as the "spanish armada" always does. First Guillermo lost his team, and joined Javier's for the sightseeing, and later on they met up with Juan and Mario's team. Nice try, hehehe.

We finished all togheter in the castle, with a night view of the whole city, the Danube, and the bridges, and started the return trip to the Hotel.

Sun 21th night, Private party

With girls With girls

Returning to the hotel, when we were almost there, we heard some good & loud music camming from a pub. As soon as we heard it, there was a simultaneous yell from the Spanish front: "Party! Party!". Someone from Belgrade came with us to the door of the pub, and there (after some translating) we were informed that it was a private party, and we were not allowed to go in.

The guy who invited us

I don't know how -probably because of our appearance, our loud way of speaking or something- one of the people who were at the door asked us if we were Spanish. Yessss!!! And we were automatically invited to join the party, even with some non-Spanish friends that were near!

Inside we had to tell out story again and again to every single person we met. "Who are you? Spanish? What you are doing here? What you think about Serbia and Kosovo?". Everyone was more or less interested in knowing our oppinion, as outsiders, about Serbia.

The best part was the girls... Ouch! Most of them were really pretty. Some of the Spanish people tried to flirt with them, but unfortunatelly some of the girls didn't understand English, and with no conversation it is very difficult to... Er...

trully amazing girl

I (Guillermo) found a trully amazing girl, really impressive, that even had a very interesting conversation and good English. Unfortunatelly she has boyfriend and no, I don't have her phone number! XD. Mario was luckier and a girl gave him her phone number, telling him to call her back.

After a while the police came, and the music stoped. Fortunatelly after checking the papers (or maybe getting some funds??? XD) they left, and music was turned back on. We ended up totally drunk, till the pub finally closed, and talking for quite along time outside in the street before heading back to the hotel. The others who were already there hadn't lost time, and there were still parties going on in some room or the other; which we didn't hesitate to join.

Mon 22th morning, Official reception

Waking up was the worst part of the day. Mario, Luisca and Guillermo somehow managed to have breakfast. Juan and Javier missed it altogether in order to be able to sleep a little longer. They did the same thing for most of the congress; the next time there's no need to include their breakfasts in the expenses!.

We went to what used to be the Royal Palace for an official reception with the Major of the city (or at least that's what I think he was). The building was quite impressive, with very high ceilings and very luxurious.

People making interviews

Amongst the important people there, there were quite a lot of media reporters, cameras and so on. Guillermo couldn't miss the oportunity to join the photographers and take a lot of photos - what a surprise. The rest of the Spanish troupe, still trying to recover from the previous night, managed to avoid all interviews, even though some of the girls asking questions were quite nice :).

After the reception we were invited to drinks and food. Dressed up, with our suits and other formal paraphernalia, the drinks more than welcome, even if they were non-alcoholic, and the food was also nice.

Then we went on a short walk, after changing out of our suits into more comfortable clothes. We went to see a typical ortodox church, Sant Marco.

People in Serbia Montenegro are quite religious, and churches are full of people and candles. I like the smell of the beeswax that impregnates everything.

What to say about this? The first General Meeting is the first General Meeting, and I'm not going to tell you about this. There were quite a lot of changes and things altered from the agenda we'd been given, so I can't quite remember which general metting discussed what.

It took a long time, as it always does, but people weren't too tired yet, so there are no special remarks to be made about this.

Mon 22th night, Dinner, karaoke & after party

We rushed from the General Meeting to dinner. We were hungry, but, most importantly, it was cold! And we still had the same clothes on since noon, when it was really hot. Even the Finnish people were frozen. Anyway we finally arrived safely.

Serving dinner to so many people always takes a long time, so Guillermo was able to go around with his camera and get shots of each of the tables in the restaurant. Nice pictures.

People signing Spanish people singing Aserejé

After dinner, we went to take a shower and change into warm clothes at the hotel, and go to... A karaoke pub! At the beggining some profesionals start singing, setting a very high standard, but all of us knew that being a bad singer is not an impediment in a Karaoke. Our favourite Serbian girls told us some about an experience in a karaoke in Elektrijada that clearly supports this theory. :) Spanish people sung the typical songs which everyone knows, including the "Aserejé" by popular request, and people seemed to like it (are you sure you were listening?)

Various photos from the pub

Finally the pub run out of beer, but they managed to get more, so the crissis was solved. People started dancing on top of the tables, showing that the night was heading in the right direction..

A very interesting field study about Finnish girls and their attitude towards guys was being undertaken in the area near the bathroom. As the Rumor Pit explained, the final conclusion was: "Finnish girls don't care about guys' nationality, just as long as they come from Finland". We didn't understand this theory very well, but is was interesting point of view. XDD

After party in a room

We stayed till the pub closed for the night, but at 3am there is still too much night ahead to go to bed; and so the After Party in the hotel started. Vlado playing the guittar, Javier and Guillermo using drawers as percussion instrumenst (one of them stolen from an unkown room, because Guillermo get it from what he thought was his room, but happened to be in another floor, not noticing till morning XD). A lot of strange beverages from different nationalities started to appear and as time went on people started to fall asleep all over the place.

The funniest part was that the hotel employees at the Reception slept through the night, whilst there were people singing out loud. Only arround 6:30 in the morning, when only a few people were still awake without making too much noise did the receptionist go upstairs and ask them to be silent. hehehe... He hadn't noticed there was a party going on when it was in full swing.

Tue 23th morning, Tourism in Belgrade

Think about it: going to bed at 7am, and getting up at 9:45, and all of it after days of partying. If you can imagine what it's like, then you can probably understand how I felt that morning. Of course Juan and Javier didn't appear for breakfast, and I just about enough energy to crawl downstairs to drink *several* cups of coffee.

That morning we went to see the city, this time with daylight. The guy who was guiding my group was great, telling us interesting facts and stories, and I was able to concentrate and listen in spite of being on the brink of falling asleep. You know that the first days of sleeplessnes are the worst, but once you cross a certain limit you can manage not to feel as tired and sleepy as before.

We finished, as usual, at the Castle, contemplating the two rivers and taking group pictures. The Spanish people, tired, ended up on the floor in a circle lying down comfortably, with everybody looking down on us green with envy. Some people even gave us money for the show we were giving. :)

Afterwards we went to get some food and listen to a short presentation at the university. In the hotel we had the first working session and we got time to rest before going to dinner and the party.

Tue 23th night, Welcome Party in the "prestige" boat

Overview of the boat

Yes, it is quite strange. A Welcome Party two days after the arrival? Even in this the people from Belgrade innovates! The cause, as I said before, was the official mourning during the first day, which made the organizers postpone the party.

The pub was really nice. A converted ship, with a good atmosphere. There were free drinks, a lot of people and good, all international music; and the boat's floor was trembling slightly all night with the dancing people.

For spanish people is a quite funny name. "Prestige" was the oil ship that sank on the north of spain some months ago. Goverment (now ex-goverment) of course managed the situation quite bad, making the ship broke, trying to hide the facts and the enormous ecologic disaster.

Javier and Mima

Anyway, just at the beggining Guillermo managed to spill a glass of Palinkovac whilst making a toast, over poor Miriana's eyes, which stung like crazy. Guillermo said how sorry he was and apologized several thousand times (If you are reading this, sorry again :) ). The party continued without incidents other from drinks dissapearing all too quickly, and an somebody lost his sweater in a very weird way: he went to leave it at some organizer's car (he told us that the lock was hard to open with the key) and finally wasn't the organizer's car but some other random car XDDD. All yugos' cars look the same, and they seem to have universal keys!.

There was a lot of flirting going on that night, and of course some conquests were made, which I'm not going to talk about here. :)

Wed 24th, Second GM, nice meal, Second GM

Awakening the next morning was horrible, as expected; but we somehow managed to get to the place where the meetings were being held and remain more or less alive during the talks.

For our lunch-time meal we went to the same place where the official reception was held. The food and the luxury were impresive. After ingesting massive amounts of food we returned to continue the GM talk. Fortunatelly there was enough coffee to remain awake through it. Juan doesn't like coffee, so he spent throughout the talk sleeping :P. Next time at least go outside, Juan. Hehehe.

After that we had some sponsors' presentations, about mobiles, servers and a really nice Tablet PC (The only problem is that it was running Windows :P). This time Luisca joined the sleeping party, behind the table. At least he was more discreet.

Wed 24th night, Dinner and party

Mima and Adriana The tipical restaurant

After that, some people, including Juan and Guillermo and guided by Borut went in search of another party somewhere else. After going to a disco full of girls, we continued looking for another kind of music. We ended up in a pub with rock music, but there were some stupid and drunk skin-heads who started telling stupid things at us. That left a bitter taste, but in spite of it the night was really funny. We didn't get back to the hotel till 7:00 am!

Thu 25th, MS sleeping presentation & BG

Nice girls

As you can probably imagine if you know how much Juan likes sleep, he wasn't able to wake up in time (again), even though some girls tried really hard to tear him out of bed, opening the window, laying down on top of him and so on...

Guillermo, after 2 cups of turkish coffee and another 2 of expreso coffee at breakfast, managed to wake up and attend the presentation. Mario and Luisca who'd gone to sleep earlier the previous night also managed to be there.

Javier had some problems with his bosses at the work in Madrid. They were angry with him, so he had to stay behind and finish some things remotey using Luisca's laptop and the Wireless connection of the hotel. He missed the whole the day, even the dinner. Fucking job... fucking bosses!.

The room of the conferences MS Fundraising

The MS presentation was as boring as usual, in a university hall. They even closed the courtains for the now almost traditional MS sleeping-presentation of all congresses :). Guillermo, after another coffee before the conference, don't sleep at all, and got to check out the "improvements" of the future Windows Longhorn. How it hung up several times, how it was doing ugly things because of the resolution, and how you will be able of having apps with a zillion colors and mooving text everywhere, just so you can get sick of it earlier than with previous Windows. After that presentation the people from Zurich decided to do some fundraising for MS, as they are probably going to need in the future, judging by the quality of this Longhorn Windows :)))

After that we went for a little walk, and played frisbee with the gifts from MS: Two nice Frisbie-Test-CDs! Some of them were buggy, and crashed soon, and rest weren't so good either, because they didn't fly well at all. :?

The meal was at the university, and then people went to visit the Tesla Museum. Guillermo went to sleep one very repairing hour, as he had already visited that museum. After sleeping he picked up Juan, and Javier remained at the hotel working. We went to the university for the second working session, but the taxi driver tried to decieve us by crossing the river but we had a map and noticed when he took the wrong direction, after a lot of discussion when we finally got there because he'd taken a way too long route, we finally paid what he'd asked for (not too much, anyway) and arrived, quite late, at the working session.

We also went to visit the bigest Dorm, with several buildings for a lot of students, making up a students' city. We had dinner there.

When we returned to the hotel we were making betsa mongst us as to what Javier would be doing. Some of us said he'd be sleeping and others he'd be catting with someone. At the end we were all coorect because Javier was sleeping with the laptop open and some messenger conversations in process. XDDD

I don't know why, but this was a great party. There were nothing special about it: a normal pub, but everybody inside was dancing, the music was nice, and everything was great!

At 4:30 we returned to the hotel, whilst Juan, who had rested a lot during the morning, tried to beat Borut to who would be the last one to go to bed (He didn't win XDDD Borut what the hell do you take?)

Fri 26th, Travel to Zlatibor

Group photo

As usual, organizars cheated to us with the time of departure, to be able to leave on schedule. Finally we had to wait because somebody who probably knew the real departure time was late. :)

Ruzica The first stop

The travel was 5 minutes long for Juan, Mario and Luisca. hehehe They spent all the time sleeping, people even started to get worried asking whether they would eventually wake up or sleep till the end of time.

There were two stops. The first was Orasac, the place where there was fight for freedom between Serbs and Turks. The second place was an incredible church, with mosaics made out of coloured glass, where some kings are buried. The church and the walls were really nice!

Zlatibor, covered by snow

On the way to Zlatibor the bus driver tried to kill Vlado, driving non stop during hours, while Vlado, who was almost pissing himself, was trying not to explode. He need to sing and sing "Stop, the bus, Can't stop the bus" and other great improvisations. The last we've heard from him is that he is in negotiations with Sony to release the album "Pissing myself", which will surely be a top-hit.

Near the arrival snow started to fall, and fall. It all started to get white and when we got there we found everything totally covered with snow. Nice snow fights took place of course, and guerrilla tactics were employed and improved, like shoting at trees to make the snow fall down!.

Fri 26th night, Dinner and party

Situation of Zlatibor

When we saw our rooms we yelled an impressive "Waoooo"!... Really big and nice rooms, with TV, mini-bar, kitchen, and a big bathroom. A really nice place. We were in the main building. Rooms in other buildings were also big, but perhaps their furniture wasn't as good. Our favourite Serbian girls were laughting at their futuristic-style lamp, a little inclined, yes; but the point is that they don't appreciate modern art :).

Party Party

The dinner was good. Meat as always, but well cooked and with a good jar of beer. The funniest part was the daily test "Find someone to read out and translate the food menu for the following day". It was written in cirillic letters, which makes it very difficult to choose between the different options. Fortunatelly my group's mega-lider Dragana was always very kind and translated the menu.

Later we went to our room to rest, shower and... pepare the presentation for applying for the COC 2005! With the help of the ultra cool "Power Pen TechnologyTM" (patent-pending) and Guillermo's camera, we prepared the first slides of the presentation. It was really cool. Download it!.

Then we went to the party, an hour later but still on time to enjoy a lot. The music started to get a little repetitive, because the DJ was the same as in other parties, but it was still good music and we danced a lot.

The best part of the night was the snow fight at the end. People finished totally covered with snow, Javier ended up cleaning his glasses in the windscreen wiper fashion, and... what could I say? Just look at the pictures. :)

The party afterwards was a little bit boring, because the building's receptionists were very strict with noise and parties, so we went to bed soon. Anyway, bi then it was 5:40 in the morning, and light was starting to come in from the outside.

Sat 27th, Third General Meeting

The longest, the biggest, but, fortunatelly, not the most boring General Meeting started out with a funny delay, because the ChairMan of the GA was... wasn't ready... :). Finally Nenad started with the GA arround 11am

Among other things, our application for being COC was very successful, people yelled and claped like crazy with our Power Pen presentation, and we got some people interested in that technology, who will be investors in our future company. BTW, we were elected to be COC 2005, and you must know that Power Pen will be compulsory for all presentations XD.

The new board, and other VIP possitions were also elected without too much fuss (there was only one candidate for each position, except for that of OC). Finally the tasks for the board thingie didn't take as long as we expected. There were some problems towards the end, when an unexpected presentation of a grant schema was interrupted, but I think everyone finally were happy, because the presentation was moved to a working session on sunday afternoon.

We started the party in Ruzica, Mima, Marija and Dragana's room, who invited us to have coffee and beer with them. We played with soap bubbles and Javier had to fight with Mima, because some drinks fell onto the floor and Javier tried to clean it up himself. After a difficult battle, we managed to conquer the precious cleaning cloth and clean up the mess :).

The party was similar to the previous day's. The sad part was that there was less snow and snow fights were not as good as they'd been. Anyway Guillermo didn't take the cammera with him that day, so there aren't too many photos

Guillermo stayed in the hotel because he was elected as OC, and had to attend the first Board Meeting. I managed to get photos from other people, but I can't tell more about the visit. The town seems to be very nice.

In the afternoon we had some free time, to play some sports, walk, and whatever.

Sun 28th night, Clausure

After dinner the organizers became nervous, because they weren't sure if they would get drinks as presents, or we had already drunk all alcohol we carried, so they started the clausure event.

One by one all the LCs went to give thanks to out BG friends, everybody saying that this had been a superb congress. See the photos to look at people and presents (mostly drinks). LC Banja Luka and LC Ljubljana reached an official agreement to enforce relationships between the two LCs. The reason: In Banja Luka they are 29 girls and 1 boy, and in Ljubljana 29 boys and 1 girl. Despite the efforts of the security agents they brought, a noise made all the representants leave the hall running and protected by security agents. REALLY FUNNY!

At the end, some strong Belgrade people brought out a really heavy box full of "sobering pills", that the organizers were going to take by docens to sleep for days and recover from all their work. You earned it, guys!

They finished lowering and folding the EESTEC Congress flag. The gifts' table was totally covered with drinks. (Some days after the Congress the organizers tried to drink everything up, and ended totally drunk. They started calling up participants, and singing Serbian songs on their cell phones. Guillermo get one of those calls and they were drunk and happy. Thank you guys!.

During the Clausure the Spanish people as a joke started passing round a hat to get funds for the Congress we are going to have to organize. That showed everyone how seriously we take its organization: we started the fundraising the first day after our election as COC. We forgot about the hat, and when we realized, the hat was full of money!!! Amongst other things we found lots of different currencies of money, a cigarret, one bus ticket, a phone card and 3 condoms! We were really happy with all those things. They are all safely stored in our guild to motivate people and remind us all of your support. Thanks a lot!.

The final party was as fun as the others, a little bit sad because some people left very early, at 3am. Anyway, the free drinks made us a little bit happier. The pub run out of drinks again, but they also managed to get more. Guillermo didn't take his camera with him that night, it was too dangerous with so much drink flowing. During the night I asked once where were the other Spanish guys were, and somebody told me: "Where else can they be? At the center of the pub, with all the nice girls arround them". He he he, and it was true, it was true. :)

Sun 29th morning, Return trip to Belgrade

Everybody was tired and sad during the return journey, so most people tried to sleep and get some rest. We were loosing people at the airport, and more at the railway station.

We ended up with some more people from Rijeka, Belgrade and Banja Luka in Dragana, Mima, and Marija's room, where we could admire Mima's nice and provocative underwear. If you have any oportunity to contemplate it, don't miss the ocassion! We even had time to buy some things while Juan and Mario drunk their last "pivo".

Sun 29th night - Mon 30th night, Return trip to Spain

Our train left at 10pm. Spanish style, we were on hurry, and had to run with all our luggage to get a tram to go to the railway station. We finally had time to say goodby, and we went in direction to Ljubljana.

In the train Javier had to pay a fine for putting putting up his feet on the seat, we talked with some strange guys who always spoke in Serbian; one of them was a milician who had run away of the barracks, and had to get back before the recount (We know all this thanks to Borut translations).

In the middle of the trip, people from Rijeka lieft us, with little time to say goodbye, and we finally arrived at Ljubljana with Borut, who was on a hurry because he had to go to the university to do some exercises.

We had a long breakfast there, until the train to Venice departed, and in Venice we had time for a walk and pizzas. We reached the airport enought time in advance for first time in history, and in the plane nothing special happened. I avidly read a Spanish newspaper to see what had happened during our time abroad.

About the main organizers

Marko and Milomir very tired after the congress

As Milomir told me when sending this photo: "This is view on the faces of main organisers (Marko and Milomir) after 8 congress days". I'm looking those faces, and I know that that I'll probably be the same in next congress, Ouch!

Thanks for your interest! I hope you find this history nice :)
